Larko no longer dangerous for Sweden?

A few weeks ago Larko's Swedish language web site Larko och hans Värld was closed down without prior warning by the Internet service provider Tripod/Spray.se. (See Swedish censorship: LARKO'S WEB SITE CLOSED BY TRIPOD/SPRAY!) Larko's inquiries on the reasons of the close down were answered with vague and totally unfounded accusations about violating the terms of service. After a number of protests by Larko Spray.se informed that the site is re-opened and thus to be seen in the Web again. No proper reason to the close down was given.

24 persons were tragically killed by a fire in a web coffee shop yeasterday (June 16, 2002) in Beijing. Internet coffee shops are one of the few possibilities for the Chinese to access free information even though the communist authorities do their utmost to limit the web sites available. The fire may have been caused by an accident. It can not, however, be ruled out that this might be another communist crime against humanity in order to limit access to free information.

Larko dangerous for Sweden?

Quite surprisingly and without prior warning, the Swedish web hosting service provider Spray.se closed down Larko's Swedish language web site Larko och hans Värld. Larko learned about the closure accidentally as Spray did not even bother to inform Larko about their action. Spray encountered Larko with vague accusations about violating the terms of service which Larko finds totally unfounded. Larko is afraid that the incident may not only be based upon the customary Swedish incompetence. This may very well be an act of censorship in order to shut up a critical voice.
